Antique Lawyers Bookcases
Antique lawyers' bookcases are a suprisingly popular form
of modern furniture. Old-time lawyers
kept their expensive lawbooks in beautiful bookcases,
primarily with glass doors, and frequently made of beautiful
woods such as
walnut, cherry or other prime
bookcase woods.
Antique lawyer's bookcases differed in their exact characteristics.
In addition to being glass door
bookcases, they were also frequently corner
bookcases or stackable bookcases. Most of the companies that made original
antique lawyer's bookcases are no longer in business; Carmel Bookcases does
not make identical bookcases to those.
