Bookcase Blueprints
Blueprints are the name used by those who construct items,
whether they are using blueprints for bookcases or for houses, or some other
furniture, to guide them. The name "blueprint" comes from
the blue paper used, which is a photsensitive paper upon
which an image showing the details of the bookcase blueprint or bookshelf plan
can be exposed. Modern construction techniques tend
to eschew blueprints; Carmel Bookcases does all its bookcase
creation not with blueprints, but with computer
aided design.
