How many adjustable shelves do you want?

Each adjustable shelf costs an extra $25.
Adjustable shelves are adjustable by, and rest on, chrome 5mm pins. At least two shelves in each case must be fixed .

Do you want a face frame?

A face frame is a frame of solid wood, wider than the width of the bookcase pieces itself, that is attached to the front of the bookcase, producing a somewhat more formal effect. An example is the three bookcases in the picture at top at the left. The face frame is 3/4" deep and increases the exterior depth of the bookcase.

Do you want crown molding?

Crown molding is shown in the leftmost two bookcases in the second picture from the top at the left.

All stained bookcases are built from top-quality hardwoods with facings from the same wood. Please see our construction page and our finishing page for more information.

At the time you order, you can pick the spacing of shelves. If you don't have a specific spacing in mind, we will suggest the most useful arrangement for your bookcase height.

Freestanding Bookcases

We offer built-in bookcases that fit your space and are made to your design. Our built-ins are identical to our custom freestanding bookcases, but sized to fit side-by-side in the space chosen by you.

You measure your space and tell us the dimensions (width to fill; height and depth); one of our staff designers will help you with the process. We manufacture bookcases and ship them to you.
