Glass Bookcases
Glass bookcases are a unique type of bookcase. While solid
wood has been used for bookcases for generations, it is only in modern times
that glass became a material that made sense for book
case construction. Modern glass construction, including
reinforced and tempered glass, provides the beauty of glass without the safety
and fragility concerns that plagued glass bookshelves in the
past. Carmel Bookcases, however, focuses on providing
the very best wood and solid wood bookcases, rather than glass or glass-type
bookcases.
Glass can be dangerous for bookcases, as well; it
is breakable, obviously, and therefore it is subject to causing injuries
in a way that some other materials are not.
