Custom Bookcases, Built-In Bookcases and Bookcase Information: Carmel Bookcases

1. Any order may be cancelled before it enters production and before Carmel Bookcases has otherwise incurred out-of-pocket costs. After that time, cancelled orders will be charged for costs incurred, including both out-of-pocket and labors costs, except in the case of customer dissatisfaction (see below).

2. All work done by Carmel Bookcases is guaranteed to be performed to the reasonable satisfaction of the customer. If the customer is reasonably dissatisfied, Carmel Bookcases will permit return shipping of the bookcases and refund any payments made to Carmel Bookcases. Carmel Bookcases is not responsible for any ancillary costs, such as repair of wall holes upon removal of a built-in installation. For shipped orders, while Carmel Bookcases will refund all money paid to Carmel Bookcaes, the customer is responsible for shipping costs, including return shipping and the return of the bookcases to Carmel Bookcases in unchanged condition.

Please be sure that items will fit through your doors and into your desired location. Carmel Bookcases will accept returns of furniture that does not fit, but the customer is responsible for all packing and shipping charges, return of the furniture in exactly the condition received, and a 15% restocking fee.

Finishes shown are an approximation and will appear different on different woods; Carmel Bookcases is not responsible for dissatisfaction based solely on color, color density or color variations of stain applied to wood.

3. Carmel Bookcases strives to create a natural wood look in its non-painted wood products. Carmel Bookcases uses only top grade wood products. However, even those products can have variations and minor defects. Carmel Bookcases is not responsible for natural variations or minor defects occurring in wood or for non-material defects such as minor tool marks; these are inherent to wood and woodworking and part of its natural charm.

4. Carmel Bookcases warrants that all its products will be free from defects in material and workmanship for a period of one year and with proper use. Any alteration, abuse, modification, or misuse of products shall void this limited warranty. The foregoing limited warranty is expressly made in lieu of any and all other warranties, express or implied, including, without limitation, any implied warranty of merchantability or fitness for a particular purpose. In no event will Carmel Bookcases be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, punitive, or consequential damages or lost profits.

5. All items are quoted FOB Indianapolis. The standard quote for shipping services is curbside; a customer can pay extra for inside delivery. The carrier will call the customer to schedule final delivery.
